BloodHub Gets a New Look!
Continuous improvement is not just a slogan for us. It’s why we show up for work every day. Part of that improvement includes BloodHub’s “look-and-feel”, or what we call the UI (short for User Interface).
BloodHub’s UI was much loved: we got a lot of compliments on it. It was easy to learn and use for just about everyone. We were hesitant to make a big change. Or as one of our users asked, “Guys, why mess with success?”
It’s a great question. There are three main reasons we had to upgrade. One, the old UI did not work well with mobile phones and tablets. Two, it did not look quite as modern or sleek as it once did. And three, the old UI would not support some of the exciting new features we have planned.
So we embarked on a two year project to revamp the BloodHub UI, and on August 14, 2018, the new interface went live. We think it looks great while retaining the workflows already familiar to most American blood bankers.
What do you think of the new look? Have ideas on how to make it better? Send us a note at firstname.lastname@example.org or click the question mark in the upper right corner of the BloodHub platform.
We look forward to your feedback!
